Registration will be open until DECEMBER 4TH, 2015. Space will be guaranteed to all who register by the dates specified. This is a parent volunteer organized School Council activity and covered by School Council liability insurance.

Once again, with the active involvement of the volunteers, parents, and the cooperation of students we look forward to another fun and fantastic season.

Please note that the Concussion Management Policy of the OCDSB can be found at the registration site. You are expected to read the policy and check off the box confirming that you have done so. In addition, you will find a OCDSB Extra-Curricular Sport Consent and Physical Health Information Form that must also be completed and submitted before your child can participate. Instructions as to how and where to submit are included on-line.

Registration will be open until DECEMBER 4TH, 2015. Space will be guaranteed to all who register by the dates specified.

Information for participants: It is MANDATORY that all participants attend a lunchtime meeting at 11:00 am on Friday, January 8th, 2015 to review rules and expectations. Attendance will be taken and we strongly encourage parents to attend.

Tolerance for Safety Violations: ZERO!

Safety Equipment: Helmets are mandatory for all Ski Club students, to be worn at all times on the slopes and, of course, regulation bindings. Additionally for snowboarders, wearing wrist guards and leashes are mandatory. No exceptions. This is mandated by the OPHEA safety standards.

Availability: . Ski helmets do not form part of the rental package. If your child needs a helmet, I strongly encourage you to purchase one. However, helmets are available for rental at the hill at an additional cost.  Wrist guards cannot be rented.

Parental discipline: Emphasizing co-operation, clear boundaries and expectations with your child is tremendously helpful and supportive, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all.

Many thanks in advance for your continued support for this program. Please do not hesitate to call me with any questions or comments. Now all we need is snow!
