Alta Vista Pizza Fridays (Winter/Spring 2017)
Who: Alta Vista Students Grades JK – 8
When & Where: Pizza will be delivered to Alta Vista School on Fridays from February 24th, 2017, until June 23rd, 2017, not including days when the school is closed (total of 14 Fridays). The list of dates is included on the website. It will be served to students during the first nutrition break at 11:25.
What: Pizza will be from Gabriel’s Pizza. A whole wheat crust will be ordered to comply with nutritional standards set by the school board.
Why: Pizza Fridays are not only a fun lunch alternative enjoyed by both the kids and parents but are a fundraiser for school council.
Slices are $2.50 and you can choose
1) Plain Cheese, 2) Plain Cheese – Gluten Free, 3) Pepperoni, or 4) Vegetarian.
Example:
1 slice/week @ $2.50 for 15 weeks = $37.50 or 2 slice/week @ $2.50 for 15 weeks = $75.00
Payment Procedures:
ON-LINE ORDERING WILL BE OPEN FROM January 23rd- February 3rd
All ordering will be done on-line with Sagoto Solutions. Sagoto is a local Ottawa company that facilitates on-line program ordering for local schools. This will save the volunteers a lot of time in organizing the school council programs and will also reduce the amount of forms you need to return to school!
All payments in the system are through PayPal and require a credit card.
There will also be a limited amount of pizza to purchase for cash each pizza Friday in the kitchen. It will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that Kindergarten students are not able to purchase pizza for cash from the kitchen.
A limited number of subsidies are available. Please call the Principal, Mr. Guido Ronci at 613-733-7124, in confidence, if you would like to be considered for a subsidy.
