School Council invites you to a parent workshop: The Parent Network – Social Media and Your Kids, presented by Matthew Johnson, Director of Education, Media Smarts, on Thursday, March 6 at 6:30pm in the stage gym at AVPS.
This workshop is designed to help parents better understand how their kids are using social networking and to provide them with tips and tools they can use to help them minimize negative experiences and maximize the positive opportunities that social media has to offer.
This workshop is best-suited to parents of youth 10+, but all parents and guardians in the AVPS community are welcome!
