You are warmly invited to attend School Council’s virtual meeting on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 7-9 pm. All Alta Vista Public School parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

We invite you, our school community members, to join us at the school for fun activities, games and treats at our annual spring fair on Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Organized by a dedicated group of parent volunteers, the Spring Fair is also the largest fundraising event of the year. If you would like to be involved, we are looking for volunteers and calling for donations.

For those who want to be first in line for all the fun games & yummy treats – tickets will be on sale Friday evening at the school (main entrance) between 6:00 – 8:00 pm. During Spring Fair hours on Saturday tickets will be on sale in the following locations:
Funds raised are used to enhance the learning experience of all students at Alta Vista. So join us on May 25, for what is shaping up to be another great event!

In collaboration with the Ottawa Atlético, School Council is pleased to be able to offer a special promotion on tickets to all the remaining home games in Atlético’s 2024 season to our school community.
Purchasing tickets through our school promotion provides a discount of around 10%, depending on the type of ticket, and for each ticket purchased Alta Vista will receive $2 which will help the Council to continue supporting enhancement to our students’ school experience.
