If you are able to help us with distribution, and you had time to let us know where you distributed the poster, that would be greatly appreciated – so that we don’t duplicate our efforts.  Please email Lindsey at lindseybarr@yahoo.com and she will keep track of distribution.

Speaker Series: Bullying: When your child is the bullied, the bully, or the bystander

Thursday, May 22nd, 7pm in the AVPS library.

This event will be presented by Jer’s Vision Educational team.

Anti-bullying is often talked about in schools, but what can parents do? LOTS! While many children recognize bullying and have tools to deal with it, children who are bullied, witness bullying, or who engage in bullying need support from home. But how to give it?

Jer’s Vision is a community group that is a leader in anti-bullying and anti-discrimination programming. Recognized throughout the continent for their work with youth, schools and organizations, Jer’s Vision is a youth-led organization that has made eliminating homophobia, transphobia, discrimination, racism, and sexism its mission.
