Alta Vista School Council is pleased to invite your family to our next Family Movie Night on Friday, September 25th – the first one for the 2026-27 school year!
We’ll be showing Minions, rated PG (1 hour 31 minutes). Doors and concession open at 5:30 pm, and the movie starts at 6 pm!
Admission is free! There will be goodies, and juice boxes for sale as a council fundraiser.
In order to keep this event as eco-friendly as we can, we’re encouraging families to bring their own reusable dish ware for their movie night food and snacks. Families are encouraged to bring cups or water bottles that can be refilled in the kitchen.
Children are welcome to wear their PJs and bring blankets, pillows and stuffies to get comfy in the gym. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please familiarize yourself with rules and expectations.

As always, the movie night organizers are grateful for the support of parent volunteers to help make movie night events a success. To sign up, please contact Shawn Leitch.
Please consider bringing nut-free baked goods (homemade or store bought) for the concession by dropping them off at the office on the day of or bringing them to the movie night.
