You are warmly invited to attend School Council’s in-person Annual General Meeting in the school library on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 7-9 pm. All Alta Vista Public School parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

The draft agenda is available for reference. Please consider contributing! If you are interested in serving on School Council, please use this form to self-nominate for consideration. Serving on School Council is an excellent way to connect with your child’s school and have an impact on the direction of the school.

Family Dance – June 12

School Council is hosting the return of a cherished school event: The Family Dance! Come get on the dance floor and boogie with us!

All students and their families are invited to a school dance, drop-in anytime between 6-8pm on Thursday, June 12. Admission is free and glow-sticks will be provided! Light refreshments (drinks, popcorn, and freezies) will be available for cash purchase. The Rainbow Club will be hosting a bake sale during the dance, and welcomes donations of nut-free baked goods.

All students must be accompanied by an adult please.
