Family Dance – June 13

School Council is hosting the return of a cherished school event: The Family Dance!

All students and their families are invited to a school dance, drop-in on Thursday, June 13 between 6 to 8 pm. Admission is free! Drinks, popcorn and freezies will be available forcash purchase.

All students must be accompanied by an adult please.

Would you like to help make this event a success, and volunteer a half hour of your time while you are there?  Please contact sc-altavistaps@ocdsb.ca

School Council Meeting – May 15

Spring Fair 2024 – May 25

We invite you, our school community members, to join us at the school for fun activities, games and treats at our annual spring fair on Saturday, May 25, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Organized by a dedicated group of parent volunteers, the Spring Fair is also the largest fundraising event of the year. If you would like to be involved, we are looking for volunteers and calling for donations.

Rain or shine, we look forward to offering:

The price list is now available – but please note that tickets are cash only. For those who want to be first in line for all the fun games & yummy treats – tickets will be on sale Friday evening at the school (main entrance) between 6:00 – 8:00 pm. During Spring Fair hours on Saturday tickets will be on sale in the following locations:

  • Inside – Main entrance
  • Outside – Courtyard, by Door I
  • Outside – by Soccer Fields

Funds raised are used to enhance the learning experience of all students at Alta Vista.  So join us on May 25, for what is shaping up to be another great event!
