Gifts of Giving – Dec.14th

Dear parents, guardians and Alta Vista School community members,

GIVING is a wonderful feeling. It brings joy to those who receive and delight to those who give.

With that in mind, the first GIFTS OF GIVING event will take place at Alta Vista Public School on Friday, Dec. 14.

GIFTS OF GIVING will provide students with an affordable opportunity to shop for their loved ones while providing you with the chance to rid your home of clutter. All items at the sale will be priced at $2.

How does it work?

1. DONATE gift items: You drop off any new or gently used items in the main foyer of the school by Dec. 12.Students are also welcome to drop off items in boxes in their homeroom hallways throughout the school by Dec. 12.

2. We organize and display the exciting selection of new or gently used items – toys, stuffed animals, children’s books, costume jewellery, games, sports equipment (ie: balls, gloves) and DVDs – in the gymnasium on Dec. 14. If it is something your children would enjoy giving or receiving, we will be happy to accept it!

3. Students will shop for their loved ones at the GIFTS OF GIVING event Dec. 14 during the day. Each item will cost $2.

We are also looking for donations of gift bags and tissue paper, so that we can wrap the special item for our VIP shoppers.

Please feel free to contact Janice with any questions at jmmmanley@yahoo.com
