Welcome back to ALTA VISTA

We are excited for another great year.

We are your school council and we will be hosting many events and meetings throughout the year.

First off – you are invited to our ANNUAL WELCOME BACK BBQ, Thursday Sept. 20th 4:00 – 6:00   Click below for more details 

 

Also our first meeting and AGM will be

Wednesday Sept. 26th 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the library.  Hope you can join us.  It’s the best way to keep up to date with what is happening at the school.

Welcome, once more and we look forward to working together to make AVPS the best place to learn!

SPRING FAIR IS TOMORROW

Tomorrow is THE DAY!!… Here’s A sneak peak at a few things happening!!  DON’T miss it!!

Amazing Silent Auction items

Restaurant gift certificates  : including The Grand, Luxe Bistro, the Smoque Shack, Hometown, Thai Lanna, Patty’s Pub and Jack Astor’s.

Family activities have been donated by Bonnechere Caves,  Cosmic Adventures, Funhaven, and Flying Squirrel.

We have a bottle of Whisky up for grabs from the parent-owned North of 7 Distillery, as well as a fantastic Will package from parent-owned TGT Law that includes a legal consultation, simple will, continuing power of attorney and power of attorney for personal care.

Other items include a plasma car, Starbucks coffee and a gift basket from our city councilor Jean Cloutier that includes gift certificates for Pelican Grill and Tim Horton’s

Class  baskets – beautiful and full of great items!

Just A few more sleeps! SPRING FAIR IS ALMOST HERE!

We are all getting the last finishing touches on this event ready!  THIS SATURDAY is the day.

It’s looking like a very nice day so DRESS for the weather and join us early and stay till the end.   YOU WILL HAVE A FULL DAY OF ACTIVITIES TO TAKE IN!

THERE IS STILL TIME to volunteer: We still need volunteers so if you have a couple of hours 10 – noon  OR noon – 2 pm,  join in the fun and help make this the most successful fair to date.
