QSP Fundraiser – Orders due Oct. 31st

The Alta Vista School Council QSP Magazine fundraising campaign is underway!

New this year:

NOW YOU CAN SHOP HOLIDAY ITEMS, MAGAZINES, FALL BULBS, TREATS (i.e.: Gluten-Free Chocolate Chunk cookie dough; Nut-Free options & many more yummy dough varieties that keep 6 months in the freezer).

HELP OUR SCHOOL BY CLICKING ON THE QSP PRODUCTS MENU ONLINE at WWW.QSP.CA using OUR GROUP’s ID: 3727773

Please note:

All cookie dough orders will be delivered to the school on Wednesday, November 16th and available for you to pick them up between 4-7 pm at the school.  All magazines will be delivered to your home as usual.

Return online (preferable option) or paper order before Monday, October 31, 2016.

**Cheques are made payable to Alta Vista School Council**

Money raised will go towards enhancing your child’s school experience (i.e.:  music program, sports equipment, technology in the classroom, school yard improvements, etc.), and every child will benefit from the money raised.

Jr. Cross Country meet

Jr. Cross-Country Meet  Thu, October 6, 12:00pm – 1:45pm

Our runners have been practicing Tuesday and Thursday mornings getting ready for this meet.  Hope you can make it to cheer them on!

EQAO Results published

EQAO test results have been released for the 2015/2016 year!

EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office) is responsible for Ontario’s provincial assessment program and tests students’ literacy (reading and writing) and math skills at three points during their education (Grades 3, 6 and 9).

You can view the provincial results on the website below. You can also see the overall results for Alta Vista Public School as compared to the province.

For those students who were tested last year, their individual results will be communicated directly by the school.
